On the 14th of December 2011 Aluglass head office hosted Stop hunger now meal packaging event. The program provides volunteers the opportunity to package dehydrated, high protein, and highly nutritious meals that are used in crisis situations and in school feeding programs for schools and orphanages around South Africa.The Aluglass Community set a goal to package 10,000 meals in 2 hours and with the help of over a 100 volunteers from our team and suppliers, We Did It!

Over 10,000 children will have a warm and nutritious meal because of our teamwork and efforts. This experience opened a heart of service in all of us. It made us realise that sometimes our hearts can do what our minds may think is impossible.
