Sandton Convention Centre

The Variflex system used was a VX164 48dB finished with a anodised, rigidised aluminium sheet and upholstered absorption panels.  Roughly 120 elements at 8.7 meters and 40 elements at 5 meters are part of this project.

Gaborone Convention Centre - Botswana

Two Variflex systems were used for this particular project.  The 8.5 meter high elements (78 off) were a VX110 48dB system finished in painted chipcore with mouldings and fabric covered absorption panels. The 3.7 meter (18 off) were a VX80 47dB system with painted chipcore including mouldings and wallpaper covered panels.

Cape Town International Convention Centre

Roughly 185 elements at 9 meters high and 21 elements at 8.5 meter high VX164 50dB were manufactured for this exclusive project. The finish included a spray-painted MDF and maple veneer with integrated absorption panels. 204 elements, at 4 meters height, in maple veneer with integrated absorption panels were a VX110 45dB system.

International Convention Centre Durban

Various Variflex systems were used for this project. The combination of spray painted MDF and upholstered absorption panels were manufactured to suit the decor of this elite project.              Approx 230 meters of Variflex partition was 12.3 meters high (the highest Variflex manufactured in South Africa), another 113 meters of wall at 10 meters height and 57 meters Variflex  was 4.5 meters high.

This is Aluglass' largest project to date.
