Aluglass is the sole distributor of markilux®, one of the largest German brand names in awnings and for more than a quarter of a century now they have been making sure that life on the balcony and the patio is made even more enjoyable.

Two sets of skills are brought to this task: on the one hand the technical understanding of design engineering, and on the other a highly developed knowledge of textiles. The awnings are designed and produced of the highly durable, light and creative frameworks and mechanisms in house.

markilux® is not market leader without reason - their clients consider them the experts of attractive sun shades. Shades that last a small eternity. And they will do everything to keep it that way: through research and development, high quality standards and reliable partners.

Selfcleaning awning fabrics made of swela® sunsilk SNC.

markilux utilizes the new awning fabric swela SNC (swela nano clean), which is permanently dirt and water-repellant. (a 14 degree inclination is required for water to run off). Due to its selfcleaning property the highly dirt repellant finish of the fabric ensures long lasting radiant colors.

The new era of technologically advanced fabrics:

tear-resistant polyester fabric with radiant colors

made of silky hightech fibers

maximum UV-, weather- and lightfastness

extremely dirt, grease, oil and water repellant due to the SNC (swela nano clean*) finish
