DESIGN AND MATERIALS

  1. FINISHES:

The following finishes are available:

  1. Stabalised chipcore panels, faced with _____ (finish) and sealed with heavy duty catalytic varnish when wood veneer is used.

  2. Natural Wood Veneer – Oak, Cherry, Pink Beech, Etimoe, Maple, Crown Mahogany & African Rosewood.

  3. Renolit – Oak, Cherry and Embossed White Woodgrain (typically used for office furniture).

  1. DESIGN:

Magnetic Interlock on closing leaf/wall post or closing leaves.

VARIFOLD PANACHE

Segments hinged full height by an aluminium extrusion with wooden inserts to match the wood veneer.

VARIFOLD CHIQUE

Segments hinged full height, the aluminium extrusion pronounced with no wooden insert.

Optional heavy duty hook lock.

  1. SUSPENSION:

Segments are suspended from an anodised aluminium track via ball bearing rollers.

No floor track is required allowing for uninterrupted floor finish.

Steel support can be supplied and installed as an extra if required.

  1. WEIGHT & DIMENSIONS:

The Varifold weighs approximately 12kg per m². Track support can assume distributed loading.

 

Maximum sizes are:

3 meters width for Single Leaf door

6 meters width for Double Leaf door

 

Maximum height = 2750mm

 

Bigger doors on request.

        INSTALLATION

By Aluglass (Pty)Ltd or Authorised Agent.

Installation can also be done by Client if required, however, no guarantee will be provided by us for installation and workmanship.
